Keystone Correction
Keystone correction is a feature that helps to correct the trapezoidal distortion of the projected image caused by the projector not being perfectly aligned with the screen. It ensures a rectangular image projection even when the projector is placed at an angle.
Use Proper Tools: Prepare the necessary tools for the installation, such as a screwdriver or lamp removal tool, as specified in the user manual. Using the correct tools will ensure a secure and safe installation.
Access the Lamp Compartment: Locate the lamp compartment on your projector. The exact location may vary depending on the projector model. Usually, it is accessible from the top or bottom of the projector or through a side panel. Remove any screws or latches that secure the compartment.
Remove the Old Lamp: Carefully detach the old lamp by following the instructions provided in the user manual. In some cases, the lamp may be held in place by screws or clips. Gently release the lamp and disconnect any cables or connectors attached to it.
Install the New Lamp: Take the new lamp and align it correctly with the lamp housing. Make sure it fits securely and matches the connections of the previous lamp. Reconnect any cables or connectors that were disconnected during the removal process.
